Gage (DOB October 2007)
Gage is an active and energetic eleven year old boy who really enjoys Pokémon. Gage enjoys watching and playing football, video games, reading and Legos. Gage takes pride in lending a helping hand and responds great to positive reinforcement.
Gage has had many life experiences in his short life that have impacted his needs.
Gage at times can demonstrate aggressive and destructive behaviors and these behaviors can be difficult for caregivers to manage.
Gage receives supportive services to process these behaviors as well as separation and loss issues.
Gage will need commitment and support from his caregivers in ensuring these services continue.
Gage has a history of struggling in a traditional class room setting and does best in a smaller group or with one on one instruction. Gage has a hard time forming positive peer relationships and is easily influenced by his peers.
Those working with Gage believe that the best family for him would be a single or two parent home with patience, consistency, and a strong support system. Gage’s forever family must be open to working with educational, and mental health providers and following through with recommendations to meet his special needs.
