Muskingum County Adult and Child Protective Services (MCACPS) is a county government agency charged with investigating reports of abuse and neglect of children, providing intervention services to children and families with substantiated abuse or neglect, providing substitute care services as needed, and providing permanency for children with kinship providers and through adoption after court termination of parental rights.

ALL REPORTS OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT MUST BE MADE BY CONTACTING CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES at 740-455-6710 or in person or by mail at 205 N 7th Street, PO BOX 157, Zanesville, Ohio 43702-0157.
